Suggested Use

Cooking Instructions:

Wash 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Soup Mix, then soak overnight. In the morning drain, rinse and bring 2-1/2 qts. water to boil with the beans and a ham hock. Reduce heat and simmer 3 to 3-1/2 hours. Add 1 cup chopped onion, one 15 oz. can tomato sauce or 1 qt. tomatoes, 1-1/2 tsp. to 1 Tbsp. chili powder, according to preference, and 2 tsp. garlic powder or 2 cloves of garlic minced. Simmer 30 minutes. Makes about 8 to 10 servings.
