Amy's Kitchen was started when our daughter Amy was born in 1987. We are a family business deeply committed to producing convenient prepared foods that taste homemade. Amy's soups, like our popular vegetarian frozen dishes and bottled sauces, are made from the finest natural and organic ingredients prepared with the same care as you would use in your own home.
The full rich flavor of Amy's Black Bean Soup has made it a favorite with our whole family. Inspired by the black bean soup served at Hotel Santa Fe in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, this delicious soup is high in fiber, low in fat, and a good source of protein; it contains no cholesterol, gluten, or dairy. For a special treat, garnish with sour cream or grated cheese.

Very, very salty. I even felt groggy after eating this, which is a symptom of too much sodium intake. Aside from the saltiness, the rest of the flavors in the soup are quite tasty. It's just a shame that the salt content renders it virtually inedible. Will not buy again.
