The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. Microwave Heating Directions:
- Place noodles, soup base and dry topping in bowl. Add water up to the line.
- Place the lid loosely and microwave on high for 2 minutes. (Caution! Bowl will be hot)
- Stir well before serving. Enjoy!
*Based on 1200 watt microwave. Microwave oven power may vary; adjust cook time to individual microwave oven.
No microwave? Place dry topping mix, noodle and soup base in the bowl. Add boiling water up to the line. Cover with lid and let stand for 2 minutes until noodles are tender, stir well and serve. Enjoy!
Try these serving tips:
- Mix in sliced shiitake mushrooms
- Top with fried tofu or fish cake
- Add cooked chicken or shrimp for a more satisfying meal
Noodles: Wheat flour, water, tapioca starch*, salt, lactic acid. Soup Base: Soy sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt, vinegar, lactic acid), dextrose, salted sake (water, rice, koji [aspergillus oryzae], salt), tangle extract (tangle extract, maltose syrup), sugar, shiitake extract powder (dextrin, shiitake), yeast extract, salt. Toppings: Dehydrated bok choy, freeze dried green onion, freeze dried tofu* (soybeans, gluconolactone), potassium carbonate, dehydrated shiitake mushroom, sugar, dehydrated chili pepper flake.
