The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.

- Place ingredients in narrow, tall microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave on high for the minutes above, or until desired consistency.
- Add Yellow Corn Grits to water, bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat, cover & simmer for 5 minutes, or until desired consistency.
Serving Suggestion: Serve hot seasoned with grated cheese, soy sauce, honey, herbs, spices or seasoning of choice.

Been waiting long time for organic grits, these are excellent.
This grain makes a very delicious, healthy breakfast cereal. It cooks up quickly, is organic and gluten free too. After it is cooked, try it with some frozen berries or stir in a tablespoon of nut butter to jazz it up a little - I really enjoy it.
