- 8'' square cake pan
- 2 cups Arrowhead Mills Gluten Free Yellow Cornmeal
- 1 cup Arrowhead Mills Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Mix
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tsp. baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups (enough to make the consistency of cake butter) buttermilk
Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Beat eggs in separate bowl, and 1 1/2 cup buttermilk to eggs then pour in butter. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients, add more milk if necessary to make "wet" batter. Combine into smooth batter, don't over mix. Put batter into buttered cake pan or muffin cups. Bake in 375ºF - 400ºF oven for 20 - 35 minutes, till edges pull away from side of pan and toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of bread.
Organic whole grain yellow corn meal.
Store in a cool dry place.

I'm glad this is finely milled and not coarse, like polenta. Remember, this is NON GMO!
Since most of the corn in the US is genetically-modified now, it's great to have a source of cornmeal that's organic. I can have cornbread again!

가루가 생각보다 고와요. 밀가루와 콘밀을 1:1로하지말고, 1:2 로 해도 좋을것같네요. 안달게 만드니까 식사용으로도 좋은것같아요. 가격도 괜찮은편인것같구요! 저는 밀가루 대신 호밀을 넣었더니 옥수수 맛이 안살아요. 밀가루를 쓰는게 좋을것같아요.

Appreciate that this all natural whole grain product is naturally nutritious and has NOTHING ARTIFICIAL added! It is also great to know that it is USDA Organic and is made with no genetically engineered ingredients! So TASTY for home made corn bread.
