My hands are always brutally dry and cracked, therefore, I was looking for hand creams that I can use regularly and feel good about soaking in my body. I picked this balm because Badger balms rate very well for toxicity on the EWG Database. It's very similar to Burt's Bees Hand Salve which I also use, although based on the ingredients I believe the Badger balm has a slightly better ingredients list. Both are greasy so I use these when I have a good 10 minutes to let it sink in. The main difference I found between Burt's and Badger's is the smell. Burt's has a almond/lavender smell....great for relaxing or bedtime. The Badger cream has a wintergreen smell...a more unisex...active smell. It reminds me of those thick pink peppermints I loved as a child. Like I mentioned before, the only problem with this balm is the greasy hands, so for work I use Andalou Naturals hand cream. I will definitely buy this product again! I live in Canada and have received all of my iherb orders within 2 weeks. Bought this based on review...sad to discover that the cream is hard and smell is bad!

I keep coming back to this product again and again. I have it beside my bed and use it every night. I have found it helps the cuticles on my nails and well as an overall hand cream and absorbs quickly. I given the tin as a gift for my male friends who indeed have "hardworking hands" and they have also been happy with the product.

Can't beat the organic ingredients. Didn't like that it was a balm vs a cream as it is hard to spread, but I've learnt to deal with it. It does smell like medicine but I don't mind it. Also quite greasy. Hey - as long as it works and is organic, I'm happy.

Leaves hands feeling soft. Very restoring.
USDA organic, natural... but greasy!

Positive points: good and safe composition without synthetic ingredients, this balm prevents chapped hands and fights against dryness. Negative points: I don’t like the smell; it is too “compact”, pasty and not easy to distribute…, but, in my opinion, the worst point is the fact that it is too greasy and feels heavier than usual hand creams, in fact, it looks like a foot balm. Needless to say, this greasiness on my hands makes me feel uncomfortable, so I avoid everyday use…
