I do not have an electric toster, so I've made french toast instead! Sprinkled it with sugar and cinnamon - very good. Have to be careful - very fragile.
This is hard to find, but worth the effort! It DOES need to be toasted but it then becomes very delicious! Reminiscent of Bavarian style rye. I put a little fig spread on it, and it becomes breakfast. Wonderful with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it, and served with soup.
