Bernard Jensen's, Health - A - Whey, Extra Grade Sweet Whey Powder, 1 lb (454 g)4 Reviews
Expiration Date: Sep 2015
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
Shipping Weight: 1.36 lbs (0.62 kg)
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

For its value in intestinal hygiene, as a source of milk sugar (lactose), to aid in the growth of the friendly (acidophilus) organisms and to combat the putrefactive colon bacteria HEALTH - A - WHEY should be consumed generously. Some people need as much as two heaping tablespoonfuls 4 times a day in liquid. If such large amounts disagree, decrease to smaller and fewer portions increasing later as necessary until odor of intestinal food decomposition (putrefaction) diminishes. Whey is a useful article in the daily diet and is an excellent food with which to enhance the value of sour milks and acidophilus cultures.
To make liquid whey, a nutritive drink abundant in minerals and protein, add two heaping tablespoonfuls to a cup of hot or cold water or juice.

tastes good...will know more in a week ot two
I have used Bernard Jenson's fantastic whey product for 30 years. My family bakes and cooks with it, and we often make a glass of whey to drink. Bernard Jensen's Health a Whey is great tasting - the best I have ever tried. It is a bit sweet and when mixed thoroughly, it is creamy. Great product for your health. If you wish to avoid store-bought milk, this product is excellent.
