Bluebonnet Nutrition, Brewer's Yeast, 2 lb (900 g)21 Reviews
Expiration Date: Oct 2016
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
Shipping Weight: 2.66 lbs (1.21 kg)
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

Bluebonnet's Premium Debittered Brewer's Yeast Powder is produced from beet molasses. Beets contain a wide array of nutrients. Beets are known to absorb so many minerals, metals, trace elements out of the soil that they can only be grown in one field for two years without depleting the soil. Beet-derived brewer's yeast also has higher protein content and less carbohydrate content than its grain counterpart. Plus, this non-GMO beet-derived brewer's yeast tends to be less bitter tasting than grain-derived brewer's yeast. Grain-derived brewer's yeast recovered from the beer-brewing process tends to be particularly bitter in taste due to the nature of the grains used, such as barley and hops.

iHerb Customer Reviews
better price than lewis labs & just as quality. Anti-aging must.
I prefer getting my b-vitamins from yeast – then the vitamins are in natural balance and in a state the body can use easily + I get a lot of amino acids too – I like the higher lysine arginin rate in this. And its cheap and I don’t have to swallow all that pills.
