This crunchy, classic-style granola is wonderfully simple. Without adding unnecessary oils, I gently toast delightful little clusters of whole grain rolled oats, pure fruit and cane juices, and dried fruit for an all-natural, delicious, and healthy granola. It's perfect as a hot or cold cereal and for snacking right out of the bag.

Mill Favorite Granola Cookies
- 6 Tbsp Margarine or Butter
- 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
- 1/2 cup Unbleached White Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Apple Strawberry Granola Cereal
- 1/2 cup chopped Dried Apricots
- 1/4 cup hulled Sunflower Seeds or chopped Nuts (optional)
Combine the margarine, brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract in the bowl of a food processor or electric mixer, and process to mix well. In a mixing bowl, combine the flours and baking soda. Add the flour mixture to the margarine mixture, and process to mix well. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Drop slightly rounded teaspoonful of dough onto the baking sheet, placing them 1 1/2 inches apart. Flatten each cookie slightly with the tip of a spoon. Bake at 300°F for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 1 minute. Then transfer the cookies to wire racks, and cool completely. Serve immediately, or transfer to an airtight container.

Really REALLY good!! Great as a bowl of cereal too. A wonderful snack to have around - mixed mine with almonds, glazed pecans & glazed almonds, cranberries. Very good for you too. I love this stuff!!

I need me some crunch in my granola, so if you love crunchy granola, I would not recommend this to you! It has absolutely no crunch in it and is the type that gets stuck in your teeth after eating it. The taste is indeed apple strawberry flavoured, so I've got no complains on that!
It's Not Too Sweet

It has just the right amount of sweetener. Overly sweet products are awful. I would order this one again.
