Hemp seeds provide high quality plant-based protein, containing all the essential amino acids. With no added flavors, colors or sweeteners, Bob's Red Mill Hemp Protein Powder is one of the purest hemp supplements in the world. It blends well, so it's perfect for shakes and smoothies. For a wholesome protein boost, add to baked goods, pancake batter, or oatmeal.
Dear Friends, Protein is a fundamental building block of human nutrition, used by the body for strength and muscle development. Many people like to fuel their active lifestyle by supplementing their protein intake with protein powders. Unfortunately, a good protein powder can be hard to find. So many supplements in the supermarket today are chock full of artificial junk. At Bob's Red Mill, we just don't do it that way. We like things pure and simple, and that's why we make our hemp protein powder without any added sweeteners, flavors or colors. Just take a look at the short list of ingredients. It doesn't get much simpler than that - and we think that's just how it should be. To your good health, Bob Moene.

This powder has the weirdest smell, it's almost like dried grass, and it is actually green as well. But! It tastes good! I use it in my porridge after I've been working out, it makes ordinary oatmeal creamy and yum! I've also used in for my post workout smoothies, and it helps my muscles to recover after lifting weights or just doing yoga. I've also used it to bake cracker and granola bars - so good!
although i am not a vegan Hemp protein suits my stomach much more than Whey,it has a more neutral taste comparing to hole hemp seeds so its great in smoothies and shakes, even works in hot beverages like Cacao with Maca although the amino acids are ruined.i also like it in carrots juice.i only gave it 4 stars because there are superior brands out there that don't have black residue down under after finishing the shake or smoothie,i just don't drink the end,but again its tasty.here's a quick recipe: take 2 tsp of the hemp powder and add 1 tsp of Maca,2 tsp of Chia seeds and 1 hipping tsp of cacao powder & sugar to your taste, you can also add grinded poppy seeds,Coconut macaroons etc. ,shake well and you have the quickest meal handy, and tasty too...you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

My new fave smoothie ingredient! I order it all the time, I personally use it for overall gut health and whatever else comes with it. My husband uses it along with pea protein and many other ingredients for his protein shakes. All in all can't complain, it's a staple in our family now.

So gross. I'm sure it's healthy, but I just can't bring myself to eat it. I tried baking with it and using it and pancakes as well this movie and everything tasted weird.
