Bob's Red Mill Organic Kamut Cereal is carefully milled from plump, golden Kamut Khorasan wheat. Kamut grain is an ancient relative of modern durum wheat that's two to three times the size of common wheat. It has a rich, buttery flavor and is easily digested. It's also a good source of protein and dietary fiber.
Diets rich in whole grain foods and other plant foods low in total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease and some cancers.

Keeps best refrigerated or frozen
For a nutritious high fiber hot breakfast cereal with an inherent natural sweetness, bring 3 cups water and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Kamut Cereal and turn heat down. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 cups. Serve with honey or brown sugar and milk. Add almost any fruit or nuts to increase your breakfast nutrition and pleasure.
In large bowl, combine 1/4 cup Bob's Red Mill Kamut Cereal and 3/4 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving.
