Bob's Red Mill Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats are uniquely "Kiln Toasted" and freshly milled from the highest quality farm-fresh oats in the world. These nutrient-rich oats abound with that telltale creamy and soothing texture of oatmeal while their hearty constitution provides just the right amount of chewiness. Some brands smash their oats to smithereens to speed up the cooking time but we just can't do that. Join us in farewell to mushy porridge.
Diets rich in whole grain foods and other plant foods low in total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease and some cancers.
Making The World's Best Oatmeal At Home
It's so simple. Bring 2 cups water and ¼ tsp. salt (optional) to a boil. Add 1 cup of rolled oats, reduce heat and cook for 10 to 20 minutes (time depending on the consistency that you like your cereal) stirring occasionally. Cover, remove from heat and let stand for a few minutes. Enjoy. Makes 2 servings.
In The Microwave
Say you're in a hurry. Combine ½ cup oats and 1 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Let stand for two minutes. Enjoy. Makes one serving.
- Serve with milk, cream, or a pat of butter.
- Add brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup for sweetness.
- Add fresh or dried fruit, raisins, nuts, and/or cinnamon.

These oats cook up nice and tender and are a part of my cholesterol lowering regimen.
Very happy with these rolled oats! I am Aussie, and these were exactly what I was looking for. I have used them for porridge and baking biscuits. These are traditional/standard rolled oats like I would find in the grocery store back home.
Used as overnight oal meals

Soaked with organic soy milk overnight with chia seeds, dried blueberries, plums & raisins as breakfast (& sometimes with cooca power). Taste good as usual. Nice price in i-herb.

I really like the taste of these oats when cooked on the stove. It also works great for cold overnight oats! I will definitely buy again.

Perfect oats! So yummy! To make sure they don't end up a gummy mess, don't stir them while they are cooking!
