Bob’s Red Mill Sweet White Rice is short grain white rice that is very sticky and has a mildly sweet flavor after it is cooked. It is typically used for sushi or rice pudding, but can also be milled to make sweet tice flour, a common ingredient in Asian dishes. This rice is often referred to as glutinous rice, which quite simply means that it is sticky.

Basic Cooking Instructions
1 cup Sweet White Rice
1 3/4 cups Water
Bring water to boil. Add rice and cover. Bring back to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes and fluff with a fork.

I am new to the world of rice, and have quite a sweet tooth, so I was intrigued by this "sweet rice". However, I didn't realize that it would have a different consistency than regular rice. This rice is sticky, though I didn't find it to be particularly sweet. I did a lot of research on things to make with it, and as a result have made some very interesting and yummy dishes! Had good results making rice pudding with this, and biko is also very good, but I won't be buying this as my main rice anymore, even though it wasn't THAT bad with savory dishes, it just wasn't what I was expecting.
