Our wholesome Brown Rice Flour is a favorite ingredient for gluten-free baking. It's also great as breading or for thickening soups, sauces and gravies.
Bob's Red Mill products labeled Gluten Free are batch tested in our quality control laboratory. We use an ELISA Gluten Assay test to confirm that a product is gluten free.

Walrus Bread for Bread Machine
- 1 cup Garbanzo Bean Flour
- 1 1/2 cups Brown Rice Flour
- 1/2 cup Potato Starch
- 1 Tbsp Xanthan Gum
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 3/4 cup warm Water
- 2 Eggs, room temperature
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Cider or White Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Active Dry Yeast
In a large bowl mix together the flours starch, xanthan gum, sugar and salt. In another bowl blend together the water, eggs, oil and vinegar. Add ingredients (including yeast) to the bread pan following the bread machine's instructions. Set control for gluten free or basic white bread setting and press start. Finished loaf should be about 5 inches high. Makes 1 1/2 pound loaf.
Note: This recipe can also be made in the conventional bread-making way.

i use it as substitute to regular flour in the bread / cake and it taste just like white flour recommended and definitely will re purchased

The only reason I give this less than a perfect rating is that it is too expensive compared to other brands. Since the other brands are just as good, I usually buy them. Unfortunately, those brands were out of stock so I picked this one up.
A nice flour

This is a good quality flour. It is easy to blend with other flours and starches and makes excellent pancakes with sorghum, coconut and potato starch. The bag has a couple of recipes on it and good information about the product and the firm. I recommend it!
