Daugiau reklamos, nei kad tos tiesos apie RAW, kaip kad knygos antraštė rašo. Už ačiū galima pavartyti, bet ne daugiau...

Books, The RAW Truth, Jordan Rubin - The making of RAW, and the Legends who shaped It - From a Raw Fan

Posted by Thoughtful-Reviews on Feb 08, 2014

RAW Truth is written by Jordan Rubin, the founder of Garden of Life, the company that pioneered the packaging of raw food. Rubin wrote that he suffered from Crohn's Disease, a debilitating disease because the body has a difficult time absorbing food and its nutrients resulting to malnutrition. He found his savior in eating whole raw food because the live enzymes they contain cured his digestive problems. Thankful, he created a vision to build a beyond organic farm and ranch which will produce health products that will make it possible for everyone to experience the power of raw, living nutrients. And Garden of Life came to life. What I liked about the book was the biographical accounts of the people who pioneered the natural health industry. Particularly the Kellogg bothers John and Will (page 25) who established Kelloggs breakfast cereals in 1897, but split over sugar. Will, the businessman, wanted sugar to be added. John, the physician, believed it not healthy. Will continued on create the now wildly-successful Kelloggs cereals company. John on the other hand, headed a health faciity where he became famous in advocating that raw fruits and vegetables, plus fermented dairy (probiotics) are keys to good overall health. Since I am a raw food advocate and a fan of RAW products, I liked that Rubin explained the evolution of their products. It didn't bother me that it was half-biography, and half-product catalogue because they both presented information that are new and interesting to me. Read it yourself, and be your own judge. >>> To get more /Nuggets and Tips/ on products me and my family have actually bought and used... ... Click the link above [[Posted By Thoughtful-Reviews]].
