Coffee snob says 'thumbs up!',

I received a sample of CafeCeps with my first iHerb.com order. Since I'm terribly particular about coffee drinks, and traditionally I hate *any* instant coffee, I had already made up my mind that this was going to taste lousy and have no noticeable benefits worth drinking it for. My first sip was a big surprise - it was very good! By the time I got to the bottom of the cup, I could taste the reishi if I thought about it - but it complements the coffee flavor nicely and is very mellow and dark and earthy. Combined with my favorite half & half I can see this replacing my usual morning cuppa; it really gave me a pleasant energy boost that lasted a few hours. Off to order my own stash!

I have had a problem letting go of the sweetener in my coffee and am always looking for a good tasting alternative. This will definitely be on my list!
I added just a little of my fav cream and it was so good!
I highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to kick the usual coffee habit. I am very responsive to energy products giving me a boost so I had no doubt this would give me a kick and it did.
I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to try this to check out the warning for those who have ailments or are pregnant and follow Madre Labs' suggestions but for the majority of us, it is an excellent alternative. Thank you Madre Labs!

Love it! You must know that I'm not a connosouir of coffee, but I am into herbs. This reminds me of the tea I used to make from Ron Teeguarden's Dragon Herbs...and I would open up capsules of Reishi and Cordyceps to put in. Good stuff!

WOW - THIS IS YUMMY. Seriously, I'm not really a coffee connoisseur, but I can taste the difference between a good cup of coffee and well, over-roasted sbux. I'm really surprised to have received this sample because just last week I received a sample from different brand of instant coffee with reishi (from another source, not iherb). I don't remember the name of the other sample, but it tasted awful - I had to drown out the overpowering taste of mushroom with soymilk and sugar - and that barely helped. This sample from madre labs tastes like coffee, and like another poster said, the reishi complements the flavor nicely. I can drink this coffee black.

Less caffeine kick than ordinary coffee but tastier,

I initially tried this in a free sample I loved it so much I bought two boxes the taste is different and because it has less caffeine than ordinary coffee you dont get the added anxiety. This stuff is brilliant and I believe the benefits it gives it should replace your regular coffee drink it for a week and believe me youll be hooked.

From the free sample,cafeceps makes a very nice cup of coffee.This is to the best of my knowledge the healthiest coffee available,especially useful for immune function during the dark winter months.Madre Labs appear to produce high quality organic products with great care and attention and to me still quite affordable.I have the coco ceps to try now!!...can't wait!

i got a tester of this stuff with my most recent order and i dont normally drink coffee b/c it hurts my stomach, but this was fine. also, it is a really strong aphrodesiac. I was wondering what the hell was going on with me all day today and then I researched online Cordyceps and there was all the info on it's sexual powers too. nice

When i want a quick cup of coffee that is strong & substantial in flavor I make this! I tried it sweetened with honey but actually prefer it black.
This is not a coffee substitute, it is coffee with mushroom added, I do get a caffeine jolt from it can feel it in my heart rate. Will buy again.

I also was skeptical and expected disappointment (instant coffee?!), but instead experienced surprise and delight. I started drinking coffee at age 9, so I've had a lot of experience with coffee, both good and bad. CafeCeps is nothing short of delicious.

以前Madre Labs, Immune Punch を試したときは味が無理だったので、同じメーカーなので不安でしたが、サンプルを試してみると美味しかったです！
私は人より嗅覚と味覚が敏感なのか味と香りには物凄くこだわりがあるのですが美味しく頂けました。

good product idea but portion small for price,

I am looking for an alternative to my usual coffee habit and this might be a good alternative. I'd like to be able to purchase it in a jar so I can measure the amoung I want to use. the little packet is really only good for 4-5 oz water (to get flavor strenght) and at that proportion it's too expensive. Maybe the mushrooms are more expensive than coffee beans but I'd like it to be more affordable so a "bulk" pack might help.

I like the cococeps product a little bit more, but sometimes i combine the two with a tablespoon of agave or sugar in the raw and it is a one, two punch.
