About Lavender...

This west Mediterranean native was one of the principal herbs used by the ancient Greeks and Romans; its fresh clean scent was their favorite bath water additive.

Today, Lavender is in high demand because of its beautiful scent and unique properties. It is used in cosmetics such as soaps, lotions, lavender water, and is the cornerstone of the essential oil market. With many culinary uses, Lavender is a great cooking herb, and makes a nice relaxing cup of tea. Enjoy!

It all starts with the herbs. Celebration Herbals is dedicated to bringing you the best tasting teas, grown and processed as close to "the way nature intended” as possible and never irradiated.

Our herbs are grown and harvested with the highest standards of quality control. You can trust our new special designations - Certified Organic, Ethically Wildcrafted, Organically Grown and Pure Quality.

We are committed to the environment. In this box you won’t find any strings, tags, or staples in our chlorine free bags. In addition, our boxes are made from 100% recycled board. A resealable freshness bag in used to extend the quality and life of your tea.

We hope you enjoy the beneficial pleasure of drinking these teas as much as we have enjoyed blending, hand crafting and packaging them for you.

Herbally Yours,

Celebration Herbals

Suggested Use
  • Good water is an essential part of brewing a great cup of tea. We recommended using spring or filtered water.
  • Be sure to relax! Some of the most enjoyable aspects of tea are the calmness and ritual that surrounds it.
  • This is a delicate herb and is more potent when exposed to high temperatures for a short period of time. So that your tea has its maximum medicinal properties and flavor, be sure that your water is at a rolling boil when you pour it over your teabags.
  • If you desire a medicinal tea, be sure to use one tea bag per cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 7-12 minutes. This is known as the infusion method.
  • If you desire a pleasure tea or quick brew, use one teabag per cup of hot water. Pour water over teabags, cover, and let steep 3 to 5 minutes to taste. Enjoy!

Amazing happy-mood tea & skin soothing benefits too!
This tea is amazing. First off, it's not lavender flowers in the bag but herb. In other words it's not the lavender color buds but a bunch of green herbs. I'm not sure if it's roots or leaves but the term "flowers" is deceptive. Nevertheless it's quite fragrant, smells heavenly, yes like the fragrance in essential oils, and tastes very mild. But this tea is a sensory experience. Not only the ambrosial floral fragrance that wafts as it steeps, but its gentle yet very effective mood altering qualities. This tea is happy-making and quite relaxing. I take it before bed however it does not make me drowsy. It seems to change my mood to make me feel really good. Not exactly euphoric, but simply happy. It's happiness in a bottle.. well, bag! I did a little research and read that bees who pollinate lavender become so "drunk" they allow you to pet them while they continue to drink nectar. If I had crabby grouchy people in my life, I'd be sure to pour them a cup! I also use the tea bag when it's cooled down to warm temperature to wipe my face with: it appears to have mildly exfoliating and very much toning effects. It soothes the skin and makes it quite soft. Originally I expected to dislike the tea and simply brew it and pour it into a bottle for a lavender face mist but now I can do both: savor it and use it externally as well. My friends want nothing to do with this tea: the idea puts them off. I don't think one has to be a daredevil for trying it, but if word gets out how good it tastes and the double effects this tea has upon one's insides and outsides, it's likely to fly off the iHerb shelves and remain out of stock for a while! The only thing I wonder about is which country this lavender originates from, would be nice to know.

Wonderful stress relieving and invigorating organic lavender tea.
This organic lavender tea is a wonderful natural sleep aid and stress reliever, helping me calm down, fall asleep faster and get a good night’s rest. It has no known side effects or contraindications and is great for people suffering from morning sickness, nausea, vomiting, meteorism, indigestion, bloating, flatulence, colics, IBS, nasal congestion, sore throat, respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, colds, flu, fever, emphysema, asthma, high cholesterol, cardiovascular conditions, hypertension, migraines and headaches, muscle, joint and nerve pain, earache, chronic fatigue syndrome, anxiety, agitation, restlessness, depression, dementia, dizzy spells, palpitations, gluten intolerance and celiac disease, diabetes, period cramps, arthritis, rheumatism, osteoporosis, water retention, gallstones and gallbladder disease, and even cancer. Famous for its superb antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal, analgesic, antispasmodic, tonic, cicatrizant, soothing, healing, pacifying, nervine and antidepressant properties, lavender tea energizes and awakens the senses, uplifts mood, aids sleep, flushes toxins out of the body, boosts and strengthens the immune system, inhibits the absorption of viruses and helps eliminate them from the system, neutralizes free radicals and reduces acidity, increases energy levels, stimulates the production of digestive enzymes and improves enzymatic reactions in cells, aids digestion, improves kidney and liver function, prevents heartburn and acid reflux, relieves nausea and bloating, increases appetite, improves metabolism and fat burning, reduces inflammation, facilitates healing, improves brain function, helps stabilize blood sugar and regulate insulin levels by preventing blood spikes, normalizes blood pressure, lowers triglycerides and LDL or "bad" cholesterol levels while increasing HDL or "good" cholesterol, protects against strokes, atherosclerosis and peripheral arterial disease, helps maintain healthy bones, joints and teeth, soothes and heals dry and damaged skin, and even reduces the risk of cancer. A lavender tea bag can also be applied topically to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, scabies, shingles, hives, sciatica, ringworm, chicken pox, dandruff, seborrhea, scalp infections, alopecia, gingivitis, parodontosis, gum disease, relieve toothache, prevent cavities and caries, soothe sore gums, facilitate the healing of wounds, sores, scars, bruises, abrasions, cuts, burns, rashes, burns, boils, blisters, insect bites and stings, canker sores, sunburn and peeling skin. It improves the complexion, brightens and evens out skin tone, reduces redness and inflammation, spots, blemishes, blotchiness and small lines, calms itching, helps break down old scar tissue, improves cellular circulation, supports and strengthens the skin's defensive mechanisms, stimulates cell renewal and regeneration, prevents premature aging. It's great for the scalp and hair, as well: it nourishes the scalp and protects it at the cellular level, removes dandruff and flakiness, strengthens the root bulbs and follicle connection, slows down hair loss, pro motes keratin production and hair growth. Lavender tea can also be used as a compress for sore muscles, stiff and achy joints, sprains and injuries: it stimulates blood circulation, relieves pain and aids in coagulation of wounds for faster healing. It's a great stress relieving tea and I would recommend it to anyone suffering from insomnia, depression or anxiety, as well as various gastrointestinal and respiratory tract conditions.
