While trekking in Nepal, I met up with an expedition about to climb Dhaulagiri, one of the world's highest peaks. I figured that with more than 200 porters the expedition must have been traveling with at least 20,000 pounds of stuff. Expeditionary climbing takes an enormous amount of energy, equipment, and people, to put just a handful of individuals on top of a mountain. My friends and I prefer to climb alpine style; we move quickly, carry light packs, and leave no waste behind. Each campsite is a beautiful destination in itself; not simply a means to an end. I don't believe in reaching the top at any cost - in climbing or in business.
Clif Bar's journey resembles alpine climbing. We try to travel light and are committed to keeping our company, products, people, community, and the earth healthy.

I experimented and purchased 8 different types of Cliff Bars. I then gave each of my friends 2 samples of each, we all loved them all. So much that we're all committed to buying these items because they are very healthy, fill you up and just taste so good.
Love the Almond Fudge bar, great dessert for the person wanting something more healthy.

Love Clif Bars - this is my favourite flavour! Not too rich or sweet like some of the other flavours!

In many ways these ones taste good, there's really no fault in it. But if I had to choose between these and Chocolate Chip Peanut Crunch, I'd go with the later ones :) Just my own preference.

The chocolate almond fudge bar is pretty delicious. I still prefer the chocolate brownie flavour. My husband didn't rate this one and loves the macadamia and brownie one over this. Up to your personal taste but you can't lose either way :)
