Rich Flavor – Better for Your Body
Pure maple sugar is prized for its unique, rich sweetness. Unlike highly processed white sugar, maple sugar contains naturally occurring minerals like potassium and calcium. Try our organic sugar in baking, as a main ingredient in rubs and marinades, in coffee and tea, or sprinkled on fresh fruit. Savor the maple!
Maple Substitution Guide:
Use 1/2 to 3/4 cup of Coombs Family Farms Maple Sugar in place of 1 cup cane sugar.
Maple Sugar Glazed Salmon
- 2 lbs wild salmon fillet cut into 8 oz portions
- 1/4 cup Coombs Family Farms Maple Sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh peeled, minced ginger
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Mix all ingredients in shallow, non-porous dish. Add salmon, flesh down; cover. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hr. Remove and place in baking dish. Spoon remaining marinade over salmon. (Sugar will caramelize.) Bake 10-12 minutes till barely cooked through. Finish under broiler, 2 minutes or to desired doneness.

Can't fault the purity or deliciousness of this maple sugar :o) But for some reason I found it gave me migraines!
First experience with using granulated maple syrup. I've been using it to replace some of the brown sugar in baking. It adds a really nice flavor and doesn't seem to change the texture of the baked good. I definitely recommend.
Excellent alternative to refined cane sugar

Despite the price, this is a very good product. So tasty but the bag seems a lot bigger on the picture

You get what you should- crystals of tasty maple syrup. Unfortunately it's pretty expensive so it will be reserved for special purposes.
