I take 1 capsule every morning to absorb toxins. It really helps with nausea and headaches and dizzy woozy feelings. I have late stage chronic lyme disease.
There is virtually no limit to the amount of charcoal you can swallow, so if it works for you, go for it. I have 8 capsules a day in an attempt to reduce cholesterol (unproven yet) and control digestion (that is is 100% proven and has been in use for hundreds, if not thousands, of years). The only thing to watch for is NOT to swallow your charcoal within 2-3 hours of some vital medicines you may be on, since charcoal would reduce or cancel their effects.
Always dependable, my travel buddy

On the days I've eaten too much or over-indulged my spicy food fixation these little charcoal pills have been a life saver. Take a couple after a meal and most of the negative effects are taken care of. And the few times I've gotten gastro from eating food at dodgy places while visiting other countries, these pills have helped alleviate the discomfort. I carry a few pills everywhere I go.

I'm lactose intolerant (mildly, it doesn't always act up), and take these if my stomach starts to feel bloated and crampy after eating. It helps really quickly to bind everything up and allows me to feel more comfortable if I have a flare up. I've also given it to my husband when he thought he began to feel ill shortly after eating out (possibly preventing food poisoning).
