Dandrene - the next-generation antifungal shampoo - is designed for people 1) embarrassed by greasy dandruff on hair and clothing, 2) vexed by an itchy red scalp, 3) plagued by oiliness, or 4) concerned about odor. Patients disappointed with mass-market shampoos, who want an ultra-premium formula to target these symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis, achieve best results with this potent mix of modern science and botanical extracts. Entirely free of sulfates, this treatment is ultra gentle and safe on color-treated hair.
Dandrene overcomes seborrheic dermatitis by 1) inhibiting the infectious Malassezia fungi that generate scales, and 2) controlling the sebum that feeds these fungi and makes the scalp greasy. Dandrene employs leading fungicides plus natural extracts of various plants. It also deploys amino acids to strengthen hair and scalp. This multilateral attack means greater effectiveness than conventional formulas. So Dandrene can eliminate the constant scaling, scratching, redness, grease, and odor associated with dandruff.
Uses: Helps prevent flaking and itching associated with dandruff.
Wet hair, apply shampoo, then rinse.
For best results, apply three times a week.

iHerb Customer Reviews
Dandrene worked as well as some of the other brands I tried. I didn't care too much for the packaging. The bottle is hard to squeeze the shampoo out (it's made of hard plastic). I thought the color of the shampoo was weird because it is dark brown, so it looks like poo poo. I've never seen a shampoo that color. The scent is better for a guy because it smells like after shave. It works good, but for $27.95 I probably wouldn't get it again, because some of the other dandruff shampoos work just as well.
It doesn't lather/foam at all. It smells too much (and very masculine). The price is rather high, so try cheaper alternatives first.
