Finer grain,
November 06, 2007
From California
Other curcumin products I've tried aren't ground as finely as this brand. I believe this affects absorbtion since I can see pieces of less finely ground curcumins when I use the restroom.
Since Curcumin is Fat soluable I dissolve the caps in hot heavy creame (in a pot on the stove) before I that them. It's a little messy but I really need to achieve maximum absorbtion.

Great for Pain Relief!,
December 31, 2007
From Washington
We've used it for general aches, headaches, hurting knees, and carpal-tunnel related pain and it works for all of them. It starts working about 10 minutes after taking a capsule, and the pain relief continues for about 3 hours. Definitely worth a try!

The product is very good for it's purpose for me. It could be priced a little lower. Packaging of product, web site ordering and shipping are great.

Jill,

My husband has been taking curcumin as complementary medicine along with conventional treatment for cancer for over 3 years. His oncologist admits, "It might help and it won't hurt." Is it working? Who knows. All we know is he's been in remission longer than anyone expected and there have been no adverse effects.

curcumin--tumeric (curry ingredient),
September 19, 2008
From California
The only way you'll know this anti-inflammatory ingredient works is by NOT getting cancer, heart disease, diabetes and other maladies thought to be caused or accelerated by inflammation that comes on as we age. In curry-eating India the incident of such diseases is lower than in the western world. So I take it as a preventative.

This helps my pain - a lot!,
September 28, 2008
From Florida
I have severe back pain. I take one capsule every eight hours - it doesn't completely take away my pain but really softens it so I can continue to function. Great stuff - heard about it several years ago through the L.A. Times newspaper.

I take this product to assist with controlling my Gout. I found it to be best in it's class. It has anti-imflamation properties essential when dealing with Gout. The added Bioperine augments the asorption of the Curcumin.

good product,
November 03, 2008
From Virginia
I take curcumin because it was recommended by the American Cancer Society. I had breast cancer and there is the thought inflamation may be connected to breast cancer. So I'm pleased with the product. It is a reasonable price because I plan to never be without it. I-herb has the best selection of supplements.
