Strontium works,

I started on Doctor's Best strontium, along with calcium, after I was diagnosed with osteopenia in my hips and osteoporosis in my lumbar spine.
After seven months, a new bone scan showed the osteoporosis had improved to the level of osteopenia, and the osteopenia had moved into the normal range.

Strontium Bone Maker,

My bone density readings kept going down every year until I started using this product. Now I'm out of the osteoporosis range and into the osteopenia range--a real improvement. This happened after only one year on the product.

Wow! This stuff really works!,

I had neck surgery last month - had to have 4 vertebrae in my neck fused together. I just went back for my 3 week post-opt appt last Friday. My Neurosurgeon hung up my current x-rays on the light panel, and then stared at them in disbelief. "Wow, almost all of your disks are completely fused! Wait.. This can't be. You are a month ahead of schedule.. What is going on???"
I said, "I think I know what's going on.." and I told him about Strontium. Sadly, he had never even heard of it. Humble doctor that he is, he asked me to please email him info on it. So I shared the studies I'd found establishing the efficacy of strontium in strengthening bone & reversing osteoporosis.
Sadly, whereas it is used extensively in Europe, seems few in the US have even heard of it (the makers of Fosamax would be pretty nervous if they did, eh?). I'd never heard of it either, until I was researching bone health on iHerb. Many online had posted their bone density reports before & after strontium, and every one of them had increases from it. So that's what sold me, to use it. And now I know from my own experience, it really works. My x-rays prove it really does build bone!

Do *not* take with food!,

The directions on the bottle are incorrect. As stated in the official prescribing information for strontium ranelate (sold as a drug in Europe), strontium must be taken on an empty stomach (not "with or without food" as stated on the bottle), or else absorption will be dramatically decreased. The directions *are* correct when they say it should not be taken at the same time as a calcium supplement.

WELL TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, I HAVE BEEN TAKING A SIMILAR PRODUCT WITH THE SAME MG STRENGTH FROM A DIFF COMPANY. I DECIDED TO BUY FROM IHERB (AS I HAVE DONE MANY TIMES BEFORE) DUE TO PRICE AND EXCELLENT SHIPPING. AS TO THE PRODUCT, MY OSTEO (GENE RELATED) WAS A BUMMER SINCE I WAS A RUNNER MOST OF MY LIFE, BUT THEM ARE THE BREAKS AND WHEN MY MD CONFIRMED STRONTIUM AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE DRUG ACTONEL (MANY TAKE A SIMILAR PRODUCT CALLED FOSOMAX), I WAS ELATED FOR I WAS ALREADY TAKING IT! SOME SIX MONTHS LATER, MY OSTEO WAS DIAGNOSED AS OSTEOPENIA (SP?) AND I AM HAPPY TO SAY, AN IMPROVEMENT IN BONE DENSITY WAS EVIDENT FROM THE SCAN. OF COURSE I DO WORK OUT 3X A WK WITH WEIGHTS AND AT AGE 69, AM FEELING WELL THANK YOU.

New Hope For Bone Loss,

I started taking this product because I have Osteoporosis. I haven't had another Bone Density Test yet to determine how well it's working, but I can tell you that my nails have never been better in my entire life. The only change has been Strontium, so I must attibute the change to this product. I would love to write another review after my test.

Strontium Bone Maker,

I have advanced osteoporosis, and this is a part of my treatment program. I do NOT use anything like Fosamax, etc. My last bone density test showed I had an increase in bone mass. I'm glad this product is available.
