I used this powder for the first time today together with their cacao butter, some MCT oil, pastured butter, organic crushed vanilla beans and the combo was divine. This powder is lighter in color than the one I usually use (Now Foods, Certified Organic, Cocoa Powder) and in my opinion tastes better. From what I can gather, lighter in color usually means less processed. I will start using this powder from now on even though it is SLIGHTLY more expensive than the cocoa powder from Now Foods. Bring on more products from Earth Circle Organics, one of my new favorite brands
I really like Earth Circle Organics, and usually use their Bali Cacao Powder. Once they introduced the Ecuadorian, I tried it and now use both depending on what I am making - it has a very different, richer, 'darker chocolate' taste than the Balinese cacao. When I put this in raw chocolate it produces a dark balanced flavor.

If it is ORGANIC why does it state "This product contains one or more chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm"? According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary the definition of organic is Organic of food : grown or made without the use of artificial chemicals : not using artificial chemicals : of, relating to, or obtained from living thing Cacao naturally has an anti cancer effect due to polyphenol content I thought? I probably wont buy this product again based on the conflicting information but I do love iherb and will continue to shop on this site.

Very good raw organic cacao powder. Best that i've tried. Tastes very chocolaty. I will order again and again. Makes perfect morning smoothie with bananas and milk.
Great Value for Raw Cacao

Although I knew I was buying 16oz, I didn't realize what a large mount it would be! This cacao powder is a great price for the amount. Plus, it is very high quality. One way to know is that is a 'single source' cacao bean powder from Ecuador. It smells and tastes amazing. Highly recommend.
Rich chocolate taste

I mix this cacao powder with watermelon seed butter, ReallyRaw honey and some water to make a thick paste. Then I add chopped date pieces and maybe some nuts. I chill it and then roll it into balls for my breakfast. Tastes just like Godiva truffles but healthier.
