Chia Seeds are an exciting superfood with a long tradition in many ancient South American cultures. The word chia itself is derived from the Mayan word for strength. These small powerful seeds are still used today by endurance runners and athletes to provide extended hydration, protein, and fiber. ECO Chia Seeds have a neutral taste and can be great addition to drinking water or tea, as well as a versatile ingredient in smoothies, baked goods, soups and raw snack bars.
Chia Seeds have been popularized by a number of celebrity health advocates. Per 20 gram serving, Chia Seeds boast 3 grams of protein, 8 grams of fiber, and 4 grams of Omega-3 fatty acids. They are able to absorb 10 times their weight in water, providing a wealth of nourishment and a feeling of fullness and satisfaction. Chia Seeds also provide a number of important minerals such as calcium and magnesium.

For a power to start your day, try ECO Chia Porridge. This easy recipe takes only minutes to prepare and serves two.
- 1 cup Hemp Milk*
- 5 Tbsp ECO Chia Seeds
- 2 Tbsp ECO Raw Cashews
- 1 Tbsp ECO Coconut Sugar
- Fresh Fruit and Nuts
- ECO Organic Dried Berries
Pour hemp milk into a bow. (*Hemp Milk: blend 1 c. water with ¼ c. ECO Hemp Seeds and 2 pitted dates.) Add to the hemp milk the chia seeds, cashews, sugar and a pinch of salt. Stir well and allow the chia seeds to soak up most of the liquid. Top porridge with your favorite raw and organic ECO dried berries or fresh fruit and nuts. Also great with almonds milk or your favorite nut or seed milk.

Happy with the seed, but you have to be careful as it has some little stones and dirt.
Good product at a convenient price. Comes in a zipped package and makes it easier to store. I used it for breakfast: two tablespoons of chia seeds mixed , in the evening, with a cup of yogurt and consumed with fruits in the morning, delicious ;) If you find my review helpful, please click "YES"

Doesn't taste like anything really. I will agree that they make me feel fuller when added to yogurt or smoothies.
