Eden Foods, Arame Sea Vegetable, 2.1 oz (60 g)
By Eden Foods12 Reviews
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

- Japanese, Hand Harvested, Wild
Eden Sea Vegetables provide a wealth of trace minerals, essential for rounded vegetable kingdom nourishment.
Eden Arame grows wild off the coast of Ise (eesay) Japan an environmentally protected area. Carefully selected, tender fronds are hand harvested each summer, sun dried, cooked for five hours to tenderize, and thinly sliced before final drying. Eden Arame is an excellent choice for introducing friends to sea vegetables. It's easy to prepare and has a mild flavor and a pleasing texture.
To Prepare: Soak for 5 minutes in cold water and drain. Add to soups, stews and casseroles, or saute with vegetables. For salads and marinated dishes, boil for 10 minutes before adding. Cooked and chopped arame can also be used to make stuffed mushrooms, and grain, tofu, or tempeh burgers.
- 2 cups Eden Arame, soaked
- 1 Tablespoon Eden Toasted Sesame Oil.
- 1/2 teaspoon Eden Hot Pepper Sesame Oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced

eat it right out of the bag
use as they are small & thin. I will use them for cocking beans and lentils – seaweed is said to tender them and make them cook faster, bedsides they have a lot of minerals so I guess less salt is needed. They're also very high in folat, has much more than other seaweed.
