Eden Organic Millet - family farm organically grown on the high plains of North and South Dakota. A mildly sweet nutty flavor and a good source of fiber and protein with a complete essential amino acid profile. Very versatile as a main dish, in soups, salads, burgers, hot cereal, or added to any baked good or breads. Gluten free. Heart healthy* whole grain.

To Prepare: Wash in cold water and place 1 cup millet in a pan with 3 cups of water. Cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer for 30 minutes. Fluff to cool for salads. Serves 4.

I love this as an alternative to rice. Being born in Hong Kong, I serve rice with many meals. This is a good alternative to having rice, and has more nutritional value as a grain.

I love millet and this brand is very good.Today I made it with red lentils and some Lima beans(frozen), cooked with less water, sauteed onions ,some Indian spices and it turned out very healthy and delicious! Millet is a very versatile grain. Buying more today...

I just found a grain of wheat in with the millet. My son has an anaphylactic wheat allergy and Eden foods sent me a written allergen statement that their millet was wheat/gluten free. Do not trust this company's statements!
