Eden Organic Sencha Tea

A refreshing, authentic, time honored tea. It is tended, harvested, and prepared exactly as it has been for centuries. Sencha Tea contains 41% less caffeine than regular brewed coffee.

The finest green tea organically grown on the historic plantations of Uji, Japan, creates a delightfully refreshing and satisfying tea whether served steeping hot or ice cold. Sencha is perfectly suited with meals, warm conversation or quiet contemplation.

Sencha Tea leaves are tender, first picked tea leaves of spring.

Brewing Directions for the Perfect Cup

Hot: We recommend using a ceramic, glass, earthenware or stainless steel kettle or teapot. Heat water to almost a boil. Fill a cup and steep the tea bag for 4 plus minutes and remove. Green tea should not be boiled.

Iced: For a glass of ice tea, brew as above using less water. After steeping, cool and then pour into an ice filled glass. To make a pitcher of ice tea, we recommended using 4 tea bags to 1 quart water for 6 servings.
