Where do I put it?
We get that question a lot. but trust us, there's nothing weird or hard about it. Just massage a dime-size dollop of cream into your skin twice daily. Try your wrists, arms, thighs, tummy - whatever you like.

I just read this on Dr. Mercola's site: Ideally, progesterone cream should NOT be applied to your skin. Instead use mucous epithelial membranes of your labia or rectum. Absorption through these membranes is more complete than through skin, and hormones absorbed through vaginal membranes enter the same pelvic plexus of veins that your ovaries normally empty into. If you apply the cream to your mucous epithelial membranes that line your uterus and vagina you obtain a virtually ideal administration system. Not only is absorption through these membranes more complete than through your skin, but hormones absorbed through your vaginal membranes enter the very same pelvic plexus of veins that your ovaries normally empty into. From here the hormones are carried to your heart and lungs and distributed to your tissues just as if your ovary had actually produced them. I totally recommend Emerita's Pro-Gest - and it really does seem to work. The only thing that keeps me from buying it again is that NOW makes a product that's nearly the same, but a bit stronger, and a bit cheaper by the ounce. Regardless of what you decide to buy, if you buy a natural progesterone cream, make sure it's USP grade progesterone and not just wild yam cream. USP progesterone is processed from wild yam, but unprocessed wild yam won't work the same way, so make sure you see USP progesterone in the ingredients.

I have used this cream off and on over the years to balance hormones and have had positive experience. I learned about this after reading books by Dr. John Lee. "What Your Doctor May not tell you about Perimenopause".
This Product Really Works

My wife uses this product 3 weeks on, 1 week off, for menopausal symptoms. Really works to balance hormones, emotions, and practically eliminates hot flashes. Thank you - Thank you - Thank you!!
Postage costs almost same as product!

Spent some time searching and reviewing this product, thought iHerb seemed best at a reasonable price, but just 2 days ahead of the delivery due date, DHL in the UK texted me charging me a further £17 for delivery...I had already paid £37.46, which included iHerb's postage cost of £8.72. I am just writing this review to warn other UK customers who think they are going to get the product for the price stated. You won't. Not happy that the final cost of this cream was infact £54.46. UK ladies take note. If you're happy to pay the extra, surprising delivery costs, that's fine, but personally, I think a further £17 is too expensive and I won't be purchasing here again, sorry.
LIFESAVER - Dual Review- Product and Seller
Posted by 5161645999867480162 on May 31, 2015
Quick review of seller (think review is blocked if i use their name)- they were amazing in replacing a lost shipment to me- excellent, professional service in replacing what UPS should have delivered without issue. Because of their stellar customer service, I will most certainly continue shopping with them. NOW, re: the product. Several years ago, I suddenly started gaining weight for no apparent reason e.g. there was no change in diet/exercise but i had removed some medications I was prescribed for pain/ MS and my menstrual cycle came back with a vengeance. Initially, wasn't too bad other than those days of the month (which became longer and longer as time went on). Since I had hit 40, i started anticipating menopause - but the symptoms continued worsening by the cycle with no end in sight. My weight began to increase in extreme amounts (still no logical reason why). I dieted more, reduced food intake, exercised more, and on and on....until I found myself this last year in a bout of major depression/moodiness, bodily aches and numerous symptoms akin to peri-menopause. I didn't really want to add another pharm. medication to my body so I started looking into Emerita and similar products in addition to reading medical journals on the complex nature of female hormones). Because of the positive reviews Emerita has received (and I read around 50-75 of them), combined with iHerbs prices and reviews, i ordered this and Emerita Phytoestrogen (should be used together apparently) and I feel like a different person. I must admit, I am one of those people that roll my eyes at a lot of claims - particularly the thought that a lotion can have this much benefit - or that we absorb that much bad stuff e.g. hormones from antibiotic-fed cattle, plastics or materials, etc. around us...but since i started using these two products (twice a day/ dime size) my moods have stabilized e.g. I feel normal again; and i've been losing one to two pounds a day (again no change in diet/exercise); and today for the first time ever, I felt normal with no skeletal / joint pain. It's only been two weeks, so I will continue to monitor. But if you even identify with these symptoms, I hope you'll give this a go. I'm amazed at the difference. I was starting to count my "end of days" it had gotten that bad. I'll post again in another few weeks, but as far as I can tell...this has truly been a life saver for me -- and for my family who surely thought I was turning into a lunatic :-)
A wonderful cream

Does wonders against hot flashes and menopause-related insomnia. Too bad it doesn't have any weight-loss effect on me, but you can't have it all! And it's really cheap, since you use so little. A tube like this lasts me over 3 months.
