My dad has stomach problems where he becomes bloated after each meal. We tried other supplements such as Mastic Gum, but it didn't work. DGL, although it may taste a bit strange, is extremely effective to ward off stomach pangs. I would highly recommend it if you can get over the taste.

Some of the reviewers below must not have realized they were reviewing the German Chocolate flavored DGL. It is actually really good--like a Tootsie Roll flavor, sort of. The Enzymatic Therapy plain DGL tastes horrific. But again, this kind, GERMAN CHOCOLATE FLAVORED, is very tasty and wonderful for healing reflux soreness.

Great stuff! Tastes good and works 95% of the time for me. The other 5%, if I don't get relief, I'll pop a generic Zantac. But I'm not on Prilosec, which my dr. recommended for me FULL TIME! I feel MUCH BETTER about taking DGL Ultra regularly with a random Zantac less than 2-3 times a month vs. Prilosec full time.

I have no idea if this product is any good because I can't get past the taste of the lozenge. I am NOT a picky taster, so the fact that I could only get one of these down says a lot. If your taste buds are defunct, this product is for you.
