Recommendations: Two capsules with each meal or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Cellulose, vegetable capsule (modified cellulose), inulin (from chicory root), and silicon dioxide.

Caution: While Gluten Defense will reduce the level of reactive gliadin and gluten proteins in a meal, it is advised that celiac disease sufferers continue with their normal gluten exclusion diet as even small amounts of gliadin can cause adverse reactions in the most sensitized individuals. If pregnant, nursing or taking prescription drugs, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use.

iHerb Customer Reviews
I carry it with me when I eat out-either in someone's home or in a restaurant. I haven't used it long enough to discern it's all around effectiveness, but I had no "episodes" when I took this product each time I ate out during a recent vacation. As a Celiac life can be very difficult and anything that helps to safeguard my health is useful for me.
Enzymes are sometimes hard to tell if they are working or not. It's not like I can take this and then go eat some pasta to see "if it works". Gluten hides under so many names and is in practically everything. I use this as a "just in case" to hopefully reduce any reactions if I were to unknowingly eat gluten when dining out. My reactions occur within 20-25 minutes of eating the gluten food and immediately have to excuse myself for the rest of the night, which is embarrassing to say the least when out with a group and having a great time, then hope for the best for the following 48 hours. So far, after taking this product and practicing safe food habits, I haven't had any reactions thus far.
