I have been taking enzymes for a couple of years, but another brand. My husband had never taken any ever, but was experiencing all sorts of problems-- goutish symptoms, achy joints, great bloating of his great belly, intestinal gas, and an uncomfortable after meal sensation of food sitting in his tummy for a very long time. When I started him on these he notice immediate relief. He said his joints were not tender, no gas and that his meals were not sitting undigested anymore-- he's excited about them and that is saying something, since he normally can't tell any difference in his body with anything I give him. Great product.

Most effective digestive enzyme I've found so far. My father started taking digest gold and it helped his digestive problems that he has had since I can remember. A friend of my was having stomach acid problems because of prescription medications. I gave her four different products to try, not knowing which one would work. She said that when she ran out of the digest gold her acid returned and that the other products were not making any noticeable difference. I got her some more digest gold and she's doing fine again. Great stuff!!!

Everything digests better with Gold! I found it helps me with digesting the large raw salads I love to indulge in, and in breaking down proteins like soy and corn. Also, I've noticed nuts, nut butters and fats like ice cream, don't leave me feeling like I have a rock in my stomach. I've had less after-meal sluggishness, too! Thanks, Enzymedica!

I've tried other digestive enzymes, and these are indeed one of the best! I ate white potatoes for dinner, and noticed no heartburn at all when taking these. My digestion actually was smooth for the first time in years. Other brands that I recommend is multi-enzymes by 'Natural Factors', and mega-zymes by 'Enzymatic Therapy' (These also are good digestive products). Kind of pricey, but after taking these, I can see why it's a bit pricey. I am very satisfied with 'Digest Gold'. :)

I have used this product for quite some time. I have had good results with this. I was having problems with bloating, etc. and after using this product have gotten rid of the problem. It may be more expensive, but is worth the price. I will be buying this again.

I've been taking this product for 4 years, and had read that in autoimmune attacks, a bi-product builds up in the blood, that continues the attack. Digestive enzymes are able to get rid of the product, and as my markers fell dramatically, I assume they work. You would have to research it, as I can't remember the exact action. But I can tell it really helps. And I wanted to take the best I could buy.,
