Deviated Septum

Used to try to help with a deviated septum and our expectations might have been a little too high - it didn't work.

works if you can afford to take enough

This can be a very expensive supplement if you have chronic nasal congestion. We take 3 to 6 pills (depending on if the dose is for me or one of my kids), 3 to 4 times a day to keep congestion at bay. It certainly helps break down sticky, stuffy mucous, but it gets expensive fast, so I save these enzymes for the really bad days, and I watch the kids like a hawk before and after doses to make sure they don't eat anything--your body may use the enzymes for digestion rather than body repair if taken near meals or snacks (we keep food not closer than an hour before and an hour after doses). I take Now Foods NAC as well, which is supposed to help and is much cheaper, but I cannot say one way or another if I really noticed a difference with the addition of NAC (I do NOT give NAC to my children because they have asthma, and NAC can act as a bronchial constrictor--word of warning to anyone interested in that product as well!).

It's not working

I don't think mucostop is working for me. i took 10 mucostop at a time but the running nose didn't stop! To me, it's totally useless! I would safe the rest of the capsules as digestive enzyme.
