The almond's history is as rich as its oil. It was originally cultivated in the Mediterranean during the Early Bronze Age; samples of the delicate fruit were even found in the tomb of Tutankhamen (Egypt 1325 B.C.). Long known as a "beauty oil" for its nourishing and balancing effects on skin, almond oil is an ideal gourmet salad dressing and lends a delicate flavor to home baked pastries, sweets, and granola. Bija Hydro-Therm Almond Oil is produced exclusively from select organic almonds.
Bija Hydro-Therm oils attribute their extraordinary taste and exceptional quality to a proprietary technique derived from old-world European pressing methods. This gentle, low-temperature process employs light toasting, sea salt, and cool, filtered water to protect and ensure the natural spectrum of omega fatty acids. To maintain peak nutritional value and prevent oxidation, the oils are nitrogen-flushed and packaged in light-resistant dark glass bottles. Bija Hydro-Therm oils are pure, unfiltered, unrefined and made with certified organic ingredients.

iHerb Customer Reviews
This isn't a bad product. But you're better off just getting this oil at your organic market. You'll get more for your money and it'll probably be fresher too.
