Best Digestion Aid Ever!,

Floradix Gallexier Herbal Bitters is a must for anyone with digestive discomfort. It is pleasant to use and extremely soothing on the stomach. It remedies acid indigestion, bloating and other food related complaints immediately. I take a capful before meals and one after dinner each night. It is especially refreshing cold out of the fridge, as it has no preservatives and must be kept cold after opening. It really helps my digestion greatly.

I let my supply of this run out for a month. I definitely felt the difference! (liver pains etc). The minute I started taking the Floradis Gallexier again, the problems disappeared. Definitely a keeper!!

Good alternative,

I chose this over the usual Swedish bitters which contains laxative herbs that have potentially irritating herbs like senna. I have sensitivities to a lot of plant alkaloids so I prefer to stay away from them, although it is a time tested formula and works for many. This is a very pleasant formulation, the gentian is the strongest note, childhood memories of bitter tonics come rushing back every time I drink a capful! I'd prefer it not to be sweetened with anything, plus the size is very impractical. Is there a 500ml +, and in a less bulky container? I will not be repurchasing as I'm buying my own herbal powders according to this formulation to make my own that I can drink as a tea tonic rather than an appetite stimulant. I drink this about 5 mins before a meal, I have troubles with my gall bladder (spasms) and this in conjunction with enzymes and bile supplements really helps.

Of course, bitters are not tasty, so I generally don't enjoy my dose of this. However, this is superior quality and probably tastes better than other second-rate bitters.
