- The Breakthrough Discovery that Will Change the Way You Take Vitamins Forever
Endre "Andy" Szalay (pronounced Sa-la-ee) grew up in Hungary and came of age as the Iron Curtain descended over Eastern Europe following World War II. On a chance circumstance in history, he and his family escaped into Austria during the turmoil of the Hungarian Revolution in 1956.
Resettling in New Jersey with just the clothes on their backs, the refugees became part of the American Dream. A pharmacist by trade, Mr. Szalay worked for various pharmaceutical firms in quality control, but on his free time, he explored an idea that stemmed from his youngest days when he studied biochemistry at the University of Szeged. Mr. Szalay believed that synthetically created vitamins and minerals could somehow be brought back to their natural form and get closer to the nutritive power found in real food.
He quit a high position to start a company devoted to creating nutrients in the form of food. After years of painstaking and patient research, Mr. Szalay "cracked" the Vitamin code and developed the first raw food created vitamins and minerals.
If you're interested in your health and take nutritional supplements-it's estimated that up to 70 percent of Americans take a multivitamin with their morning orange juice each day-then you need to read The Vitamin Code.
Andy Szalay was in the right place at the right time in history, and we are the beneficiaries. By the time you finish reading The Vitamin Code, you'll never look at a bottle of vitamins the same again. The Vitamin Code will change the way you take vitamins and minerals forever !

Natural vitamins are best. Don't be quick to buy into mainstream media implying that vitamins are of little to no use. People die of vitamin deficiencies. I suffer NO 'drug deficiencies!' I am on of the rare Americans taking Zero pharmaceuticals, and am in excellent health. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - or you WILL break it.
I especially liked the bits about the benefits of a raw food diet. It is hard to critique a book designed almost solely to sell a particular brand of product. It was still an interesting read though. I did actually want to buy the vitamin after reading it, but it was so low in the B vitamins and Zinc that it didn't seem viable. (It also has iron and copper in it which I need to strictly avoid taking in supplement form). If they put one out that fixed these issues I would try it though for sure. The book made some good points.
