Interesting and unusual cocoa. I used it for brownies, muffins and cocoa drink. It is important to mention that you should use smaller quantity of black cocoa compare to the usual one. It was difficult to find right proportion of this cocoa for brownies. The decision was to use not more than 1/3 of black cocoa of the cocoa quantity in recipe and add another 1/3 of usual cocoa. In other case your dough will be too dry.
I hunted for a long time online to find a black cocoa powder to make black velvet cake for my daughter's 21st birthday. This one seemed to fit the bill, but when it arrived it was simply very dark brown. It's delicious and the cake was lovely, but it wasn't black. This was extremely disappointing because the cake was decorated as a nebula on the outside, so inside it was supposed to represent the black night sky. I even put white stars in the mixture. I also added two tablespoons of black food colouring, but it was still a dark brown night sky. Disappointing.
