This tea has a very rich flavor, with a hint of sweet smokiness. The leaves are rolled into little pellets that unfurl and 'bloom' in the cup.
Botanical name: Camellia sinensis L.
A robust tea to pair with grilled vegetables, seafood, chicken and pork. Or try Gunpowder in small sake cups with smoked salmon or mini pot stickers at a cocktail party.
To enjoy, pour 6 oz simmering water (170°F preferred) over one teaspoon of tea. Steep 2-4 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Certified organic gunpowder green tea (camellia sinensis)
I love loose leaf Madura green tea in Australia but I'm in Canada and when I ran out I ordered this tea and it's almost just as good. I am very picky when it comes to teas and usually think that green tea tastes very bland but this has a rich smooth flavour and is just a treat for me when I have it in the morning. Love it!!!
This tea is delicious. I preferred black tea to green tea until I tried this. The quality seems high. The balls open into full leaves can be steeped numerous times.
Full bodied green tea

I can taste the quality when I brew it. A little goes a long way. Recommended.

Nice aroma and taste. I am not a tea expert, but I have tried a few tea blends and I like this one a lot. Also, the price is quite good.

Although I have tried Oolong and greeen china tea from this company which I love, however, at this time I have not tried this so can't comment on the taste
