Add a touch of honey and spice to nuts for an irresistible snack.
1 cup raw walnuts
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch of cinnamon:
1 pinch of sea salt
In a mixing bowl, toss together all the ingredients and mix so that the nuts are well coated.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment, and spread the nuts out on the sheet.
In an oven heated to 250°F, bake for 10-15 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.
Allow the nuts to cool before serving or storing.
Eating nuts, which contain monounsaturated fats (the kind that can help reverse the effects of saturated and trans fats), is recommended as part of a healthy diet. For this recipe, we use raw walnuts, but you can incorporate nearly any of your favorite nuts. In fact, a combination of different nuts -- each with their own flavors and textures -- will make for a more exciting snack.

iHerb Customer Reviews
This vanilla is pretty much tasteless and odourless, I'm sorry to say. Maybe because it is alcohol free. For me the best is Simply Organic, Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract. Click on my username for more reviews! If you thought that this review was helpful please feel free to press the 'yes' button.
This "vanilla" has no perceptible flavor whatsoever...even when using a couple of tablespoons in a cup of plain skim milk. It really doesn't even have any aroma either, except for the faint sweetness of the glycerine. Look elsewhere for an alcohol-free vanilla, if you actually want some flavor (I recommend La Vencedora's water extracted version).
