Good Food, Good Life
What are probiotics and how can they benefit my infant?
Good to know
Probiotics are good bacteria that are found in Breastmilk and help support your infant's digestive health and developing immune system.
Good Start Gentle for Supplementing is the only formula with probiotic B. lactis that increase the good bacteria in your infant's digestive system to help promote a healthy digestive tract where 80% of the immune system resides.
Good to remember
Good Start Gentle for Supplementing formula is an ideal choice for breastfeeding moms who supplement because our formula offers gentle nutrition with Comfort Proteins and probiotic B. lactis† to help support the digestive health of those infants receiving both breastmilk and formula.
†B. lactis provides the live and active probiotic cultures Bifidobacterium lactis. Bifidobacteria are the most abundant type of culture found in the digestive system of breastfed babies.
Makes approximately 90 fl oz (2.8 qt) of formula.
Directions for Preparation and Use:
Always wash your hands and utensils before preparing formula.
Pour desired amount of water into bottle. See chart to right.
Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.7 g) of powder for each 2 fl oz water. (Only use enclosed scoop. Separate it from frame.)
Cap bottle; Shake well. Feed baby immediately or refrigerate and use bottle within 24 hours. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
Your baby's health depends on carefully following the preparation, use, and storage instructions. Ask your baby's doctor about infant formula feeding* including how much to feed and the need to sterilize (boil) water and preparation utensils before mixing formula. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who may have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's doctor.
