All summer long I suffered from this terrible rash on my back and chest that looked much like seborrheic dermatitis. Nothing I tried worked, and believe you me I spend a good bit of money on other products. I figured I had nothing too loose when I purchased the most in-expensive treatment yet. The results are wonderful, the itch that plagued me all summer has just about disappeared completely. I can only recommend this soap and after itching all this time I can handle that smell any day - it dissipates fast anyhow. Give it a try!! Now I just hope I have something left to show the dermatologist when I finally get to see him !!
My husband has psoriasis on his scalp and this soap is the only thing that helps him to get rid of scales. Great natural product.

You know when you wake up outside in a sleeping bag, and what's left of the bonfire is still smoldering, and the mist is creeping along the ground, and you can hear people snoring, and a few of the early risers laughing over coffee, and you're not entirely sure what happened the night before? In a good way? This is that smell. Kind of a sweet, burnt, early morning smell. It seems to be working for my husband, says it even makes bug bites less itchy.. Will definitely buy it again.
best soap ever!

***Want to find out how to save money, click "YES" and see MORE useful info by CLICKING ON MY NAME.** If you can imagine what smoldering pine branches smell like, that's how you'll smell after using this soap. It's woody, smoky, and easily the best smelling soap I've ever owned. I've always loved campfires and have joked many times about how I wish there were a campfire scented cologne, because I would buy it. This soap cleanses better than any other soap. You get a squeaky clean feeling every time after using it. I love the pine tar smell too, and I am a woman. **If you find my review useful, click "YES" and see more useful info by clicking on my name.**

Ta-Ta Tar Soap

I really wanted to use this product in order to get rid of dandruff. Unfortunately, the product left my hair so dull, and limp (even my mother who was visiting noticed) I didn't want to use it again. I find the smell a little too over powering. I love woody smells, but this is burnt smelling. I will try it again, but would definitely have to use normal shampoo to follow in order to prevent the limp, dry, unmanageable hair the next day. Has anyone tried a tar shampoo that is useful?
