100% Organic Chia Seeds

Green Foods' chia seeds are certified organic, grown without the use of herbicides, fungicides or pesticides. The fertile soil and ideal subtropical climate offers the best conditions for the growth of superior chia seeds.

Perfect Ratio of Omega-3 & Omega-6

Our chia seeds have an optimal amount of essential Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids in an ideal ratio of 3:1. Omega-3's promote cardiovascular health and may help regulate cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels.

Highest vegetarian source of Omega-3's (gram for gram).

Richest Known Whole Food Source of Fiber

One serving of our chia seeds provides 20% of the daily recommended intake of fiber. Chia contains insoluble and soluble fiber, which may assist in helping to lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, as well as aid with digestion, detoxification and weight loss.

High Quality Protein

Chia seeds are a vegetarian source of high quality protein containing all the essential amino acids. Proteins are the building blocks of bones, muscles, cartilage, and skin.

Suggested Use

Store in freezer for maximum freshness.

For best results, mix one scoop (15 g) into 6 to 8 oz. of liquid or food 1-3 times a day. Eat them straight from the bottle as a nutritious snack or add to cereals, smoothies, yogurt, cottage cheese, soups, salads, or oatmeal.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place with lid tightly closed.

......How to use Chia Seeds? Organic Whole Seeds = Great Taste.

To get the most out of Chia, make Chia Gel. It's one part Chia Seeds to 9 parts water. I make it in a jar (shake or stir until the seeds begin to suspend in the gel) and keep it in the refrigerator. It creates a thick gel that you can add to most anything and it doesn't change the flavor. There's lots of info on the Web. Have a look! Chia seeds are phenomenal. . . . . You can find other products I use on my Page! I use only products that have Scientifically Proven benefits.

High source of omega 3

I love eating these little seeds knowing they are heavily nutritious. I have them for my breakfast every morning as they make a really great raw porridge (1 measure of chia seeds + 1 cup of no sugar almond milk + a sprinkling of almonds and seeds + some diced green apple. Leave the mixture in the fridge for 20 minutes for the chia to thicken up then enjoy!)

Whole seed, chia seeds

I expected something different than the chia seed I usually buy, but it looks the same. I will use it still, there's nothing wrong with it! I love chia seeds. But, if your buying this product because you think it's a big seed, your in for a surprise; it's not!
