Only two tender leaves and a bud are used to produce this delicious green biodynamic tea. With its delicate green liquor, green tea is valued for its detoxifying and antioxidant properties. The unfermented leaves of green tea are lightly steamed before being dried.
Our green tea is grown at Makaibari, the first biodynamic tea estate in the world, situated at 3-4000 feet high up in the Himalayas. The estate is protected on all sides by lush virgin forests and is home and livelihood to a community of 1700 people, a pack of panthers and a richly diverse wildlife.
