Discussion: Experience the naturally powerful combination of salt, soda, and prickly ash bark for dental hygiene. Prickly ash bark is a classic Native North American tooth cleanser.
Promote gum circulation and clean teeth by brushing thoroughly with a soft bristle toothbrush and rinsing with warm water. Use in conjunction with Ipsadent Mouthwash and Ipsab Herbal Gum Massage for a complete oral health program. Great minty taste!
Sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, zanthoxylum clava herculis (prickly ash) bark, and mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf powder.

I became highly allergic to all of the so called natural mouth washes and toothpastes! I especially react to the xanthan gum, carrageen, sorbitol and glycerin! Glycerin which comes from coconut is in everything. Xanthan gum is fermented from corn and sorbitol also comes from corn. Sorbitol can cause a lot of problems especially in children and sensitive adults. Carrageen comes from red seaweed. If you are sensitive to gluten you should avoid all products containing carrageen. All of these ingredients are overused in our diet, which is one reason a lot of us more sensitive individuals are becoming allergic to them. I highly recommend this product mostly because of its purity, but it also does a great job cleaning your teeth and mouth. I wet my toothbrush and then squeeze a little powder on my brush. The wet brush keeps the powder from sifting out of the bristles.
I'm sure the salt has a useful abrasive value, but it is just WAY too much for the palate. The baking soda (SODIUM bicarbonate) component is plenty salty on its own. It caused my tongue and lips to swell and my lips to feel raw. To qualify, I don't consider myself overly sensitive.
A different kind of tooth care, genuine Cayce formula

I prefer original Edgar Cayce formulae and was willing to give Ipsab a try. This is clearly different from any conventional toothpastes, having a salty taste and non foaming consistency. The fine crystals tend to stick between teeth but they are water soluble, so they will dissolve during brushing. Not irritating and leaves a good mouth feel. Much better tasting than a homemade variant which I once prepared from finely ground table salt and soda, that was way too salty. The ingredients are only mildly abrasive and thus this probably does not have a whitening effect.

This looks and tastes exactly like very finely ground Himalayan pink salt! No peppermint taste. It's nasty!!!

Nice toothpowder to use in evening. Need to get used to it, because of salty taste. Good amount and it is cheap. Cleans very well, although i want something other in the morning, like Nature's Gate, Natural Toothpaste, Creme de Anise, Fluoride Free...

Tastes like pure salt, bottle is kind of messy, doesn't foam at all and worst of all, made my gums hurt not only while brushing but for the rest of the day.I had none of those issues with the Eco-dent tooth powder and going but to that.I try to use up the products I buy even when I'm not 100% satisfied, but this I had to throw in the trash, total waste of money.
way too salty,

the main ingredients are baking soda & salt (sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride). the saltiness is overwhelming that i could taste nothing else (no or anything else. + it's very drying might as well just making your own tooth powder by mixing them, why waste $ paying for salt & baking soda.
