Castor Oil is a natural emollient that penetrates the surface layers of the skin making it softer and more supple. It is best to apply Castor Oil externally using a "Castor Oil Pack"-saturating the oil onto a piece of wool flannel and applying to the body, with or without heat.

Instructions for the preparation and application of castor oil packs are supplied with each package of Home Health White Wool Flannel.

Suggested Use

Cleanse the skin with mild soap and water. Apply as required, twice per day. As a Castor Oil Pack for concentrated application, saturate wool flannel and apply over desired area. Dry heat may be applied.

Do not apply to broken or irritated skin or areas affected by rashes. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on children or animals.

For external use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Tamper resistant: Do not use if seal under cap is broken or missing.

great for lips and making eyelashes grow

Posted by Reviewer1536695 on May 21, 2009

I knew castor oil is an important additive to home made lip glosses (gives lots of shine and staying power) but I had read that some ladies apply castor oil along the lash line and on the lashes themselves to make them grow. Sounds crazy but I've tried and I am definitely noticing some growth! I had practically no lower lashes but I am starting to get some fuzzy ones now.

Castor Oil great for dry skin

Posted by Reviewer1253710 on Apr 11, 2009

I love this little bottle. It is just the right size to fit into my purse. Castor oil is wonderful because it is the only oil that doesn't irritate my dermatitis. It keeps my skin from being so dry. Is especially good in dry climates and on the ski slopes. Now my skin doesn't feel like alligator skin any more, thanks to Home Health Castor Oil

good, but...

I wish this bottle had a squeeze cap instead of the regular cap... it's difficult to get just a small amount out of the bottle.

Results in 4 days-Should come in glass bottle!

Posted by PurplePegasus on Jul 04, 2009

Eyelashes almost doubled in size in 4 days. Some days I used twice a day. My eyelashes are still pretty short though but I stopped using it for the time being. I apply with a tiny flat brush on the eyelashes like a mascara, rolling the flat square brush upwards ONLY. NEVER on the eyelid as I read reports that people were growing lashes too high and I went thru that a few years ago didn't want a repeat. As long as eyelashes are coated from the base up, I'm good to go.
