Castor Oil is a natural emollient that penetrates the surface layers of the skin making it softer and more supple. It is best to apply Castor Oil externally using a "Castor Oil Pack"-saturating the oil onto a piece of wool flannel and applying to the body, with or without heat.
Instructions for the preparation and application of castor oil packs are supplied with each package of Home Health White Wool Flannel.
Cleanse the skin with mild soap and water. Apply as required, twice per day. As a Castor Oil Pack for concentrated application, saturate wool flannel and apply over desired area. Dry heat may be applied.
Do not apply to broken or irritated skin or areas affected by rashes. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on children or animals.
For external use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Tamper resistant: Do not use if seal under cap is broken or missing.
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil.
Free of preservatives, artificial color, fragrance, mineral oil, parabens, petroleum.
I knew castor oil is an important additive to home made lip glosses (gives lots of shine and staying power) but I had read that some ladies apply castor oil along the lash line and on the lashes themselves to make them grow. Sounds crazy but I've tried and I am definitely noticing some growth! I had practically no lower lashes but I am starting to get some fuzzy ones now.
Might be good protection if you're going to do greasy work (like auto repair).

I have been putting this (with a little almond oil) on the on my feet. It really does soften the skin. I will definitely buy again.

I bought this as part of the Oil Cleansing Method for your face--which really works for me by the way--and it totally does the job.

This is a tiny bottle but will last a long time. I've used 5 times now and there's hardly any missing, probably because the oil is so thick.
