- Traditional Immune Formula
- Herbal Supplement
Discussion: Once a staple in New England farm kitchens, elderberry syrup has been traditionally used for healthy immune support. This syrup contains elderberries, raw honey, echinacea, propolis, and apple cider vinegar to help promote overall wellness. The apitherapy raw honey has never been heated or filtered and thus retains the beneficial traces of pollen, propolis, and beeswax which the flowers and bees have provided.
Shake well. Use only as directed. Take 1 serving every two hours as needed. Do not exceed 5 servings per day.
Pure grain alcohol and water.
Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing. Keep out of reach of children. Keep your licensed health care practitioner informed when using this product. Do not give to children under the age of 1 year old. Bee products may cause an allergic reaction in some people. Not recommended for excessive or long-term use.

iHerb Customer Reviews
The product tastes fine and is effective but I've purchased it before and the label used to bear "organic". Now it doesn't even say "wildcrafted", which to me translates to "loaded with toxic pesticides and herbicides". Since I have life-threatening illness due to mainly a toxic liver and MCS, I can't filter out toxins like a normal person can. I contacted the vendor and they refused to answer my question, hence my removing 2 stars. I am sad about this situation and don't know what to make of it, I used to trust this company as putting out quality syrups. I had their salve & sprays in my basket and removed all when I received their reply refusing to address my question. That was strange. I'm sorry that's the best review I can honestly leave. I hope they will reply here or the labels will be updated or explained.
I cant give this 5 stars because I used this 1 tsp every 2 hours on my son, and he just wasnt giving enough improvement in his cold, until I swithced to another immune booster. But I will say it is excellent forcoughing. It stops it pretty fast. I give it for coughing and croup. Also I think if you used it daily to prevent illness, it would help. MAKE YOUR OWN SYRUP LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!! Put 4 cups water and 2 cups dried elderberries in the crockpot on Warm. Heat in crockpot for 24 to 36 hours on warm. Mash and strain berries out. Cool. Add: 1.7 oz bottle of Echinamide, a bottle (100 capsules) of NOW brand Propolis (empty them into the syrup), 1 cup Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 cup Raw Honey, and Nutribiotic Grapefruit Seed Extract 20 drops. Store in Refrigerator till cool. Dosages are 1 Tablespoon for Adult Matenience, and 1 T. every two hours when sick. Children ages 6-12 2 tsp per day to prevent, and 2 tsp every 2 hours when sick. Children ages 1-5 1 tsp per day to prevent and 1 tsp every two hours when sick. This works out to around 4.00 for an 8 oz jar of syrup
