Huntington's Disease
Huntington's disease can cause slow and progressive degeneration of the nerve cells in the brain. Eventually the disease causes behavioral difficulties, dementia and abnormal movements. The disease is thought to be caused by a faulty gene on chromosome #4, and people who inherit the gene may be at risk for it.
