Hyland's, Hemmorex, Hemorrhoids Homeopathic Ointment, 1 oz (30 g) (Discontinued Item)
- Homeopathic Ointment
To help shrink swelling of hemorrhoidal tissues caused by inflammation, and to give prompt, temporary relief in many cases from pain and itching.
Using applicator, apply well up in rectum night and morning and after each bowel movement. Thoroughly rinse applicator after use.
In case of rectal bleeding, consult a physician immediately. Keep this and all medicine out of the reach of children. If symptoms persist for more than seven days or worsen, consult a licensed health care professional. Do not use if tamper evident seal is broken or missing.
Aesculus Hipp. 1X HPUS (Horse Chestnut), Collinsonia Can. 1X HPUS (Stone Root), Hamamelis Virg. 1X HPUS (Witch Hazel) and Resorcinum 2X HPUS (Resorcinol) in a base of Petrolatum USP.
Produced once that relieves application, helping to reduce swelling and provide comfort to each. The only downside is the applicator, which is very rude to use.The product works long after use.
Comes without the applicator, which makes it difficult to use properly. Avenoc is easier to use, at least as effective, and less likely to stain fabric (the Hyland's is a brown color).
Pretty good but very sticky!

I find Hyland Hemmorex is stronger and give longer relief than H cream. However, the cream likes vaseline jelly - thick and rather sticky. It has herb smell. You need to wash hand several times after applying it. so, it is a trade off with H cream which has light and no smell cream. If you need stronger relief, Hemmorex is probably the way to go - the herb smell won't be detectable after you apply it unless somebody is sniffing your behind lol UPDATE: the cream is rather sticky and it is difficult to clean after you apply it. it is quite annoying. I do still need to apply twice a day to avoid itchiness. Thinking of trying out other brands.
