Imperial Elixir, Red Ginseng Slices, with Honey, 10 Boxes, 0.7 oz (20 g) Each (Discontinued Item)
- From the Famous Chang Bai Shan Mountains
The Chang Bai Shan mountains, which border China and North Korea, are considered by most ginseng connoisseurs to be the premier area for growing this precious root with the 5000 year history of use. Ginseng roots grow naturally there, because the soil is rich and fertile, the mountain air is crystal clear, and pristine rain is abundant.
Imperial Elixir Red Ginseng Slices with Honey are made with 6 year-old ginseng roots from the Chang Bai Shan (Pagk Do San in Korea) mountains. The roots are carefully harvested, cleaned, dried and lightly steamed using state-of-the-art Korean technology to preserve all the essential active components. The roots are then sliced and imbued with pure mountain honey to create an incredibly delicious way of ingesting authentic ginseng.
2-3 slices orally or with hot water as a tea up to 3 times a day.
Chinese Red Ginseng (Panax ginseng) root and honey.
No sugar or preservatives

iHerb charged about 10% of what others are advertising for the same product. I thought it was a mistake but compare for yourself. This is a great brand. Great quality and price.
A unique way of having Ginseng. A true delicacy for amateurs of this delicate taste.
Top quality product

If you have been taking Ginseng pills or extracts and didn't feel anything, give these a try. Watch out they do kick! I take 1/2 a pack in the morning with my coffee for that extra boost.
UnHeard of Service

With the current trend of downsizing and layoff and all the rest, having a company like iHerb.com is a godsend. The service I have received from iHerb.com is second to none. Keep up the good work.

Good ginseng at a good price. Tastes good. I take one of the individual packages with me when I go hiking for an energy boost.

I don't know how good it is for you because I never really feel any different if I take it or not but I just love chewing it.
